I had a pleasant stay at Catina Saigon Hotel, which is situated right in the center of HCMC. The service was fantastic, and the breakfast was really good, offering a variety of choices. However, the room's old carpeting could use an update, and I was surprised by the high taxi booking charge.

I had a pleasant stay at Catina Saigon Hotel. The location is fantastic, right along Dhong Koi in District 1, making it easy to explore shopping venues, cafes, and restaurants. Although the rooms are stylish and clean, I did notice an occasional odd odour in the public areas and some rooms, which was a bit off-putting. Nonetheless, the breakfast spread was decent, especially the Vietnamese hot noodle soups and delicious baguettes.
